Services

Bid writing that carries its weight - plus a simple way in for first-timers.

Two clear services: hands-on writing of your public sector tenders, and a one-off setup that gets brand-new businesses onto the procurement portal and ready to bid.

Tender portal setup

£500one-off setup

Never bid for public sector work before? The first hurdle is simply getting registered and set up on the right procurement portal - and it puts a lot of small businesses off before they’ve started.

This one-time service removes that barrier. I’ll set your company up on Public Contracts Scotland - creating your contractor profile, linking it to the PCS Tender Module, and configuring your Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) codes so you start receiving daily notifications of relevant opportunities. It’s a fixed £500 one-off - no ongoing fees, just a clean, working start on the portal.

  • Contractor profile created on Public Contracts Scotland
  • Accounts linked to the PCS Tender Module
  • CPV codes configured for daily opportunity alerts
  • A one-time setup - no subscription, no recurring cost
  • Ideal for SMEs aiming for longer-term public sector contracts

This covers registration and set-up only - pricing and preparing your actual tender submissions is separate, and forms part of the full bid writing service below.

Secure card payment via Stripe. Once paid, John will be in touch within one working day to start your setup. Questions first? Get in touch.

02 / Core service

Full bid writing

Your tender, prepared and submitted properly - end to end.

Public sector tenders are won on the detail: answering the actual question, meeting every requirement in the specification, and writing to the way the response will be scored. I take that off your plate entirely - reading the opportunity, planning the response, drafting the answers, and preparing everything for submission by the deadline.

The aim is straightforward: give your business a submission that reads as clearly and credibly as anything a much larger competitor would put forward.

  • Review of the ITT / tender documents and scoring criteria
  • Method statements and quality question responses
  • Social value and community benefit answers
  • Compliance, policies and supporting schedules
  • Selection Questionnaire (SQ) / PQQ completion
  • Framework and Dynamic Purchasing System applications
  • Clear, evidence-led writing tailored to your business
  • Prepared and checked ahead of the submission deadline
  • Post-award review - advice on improving your score next time

Ideally, get in touch at least two weeks before your submission deadline - the earlier the better for a properly considered response.
